You will manage the supply chain for trucks and equipment to ensure availability, quality, and efficiency within our specifications. You will work with category management to support sourcing strategies and serve as the liaison between our field teams and our supply partners. Great relationship development skills are a must.What You'll DoAdminister and support Centuri's Capital Purchasing initiatives within assigned asset categoriesWork closely with operations to satisfy planned and immediate equipment needsDevelop performance monitoring systems and manage supplier performance to ensure that contract terms and conditions are met or exceededEngage in the supply chain processes for given asset categories including but not limited to the development of national agreements, logistics, e-business, diversity, inventory and cost reduction strategies, as well as the continued improvement of the effectiveness and efficiency thereofMaintain continuous communication with suppliers to manage inventory of trucks, trailers, tools, etc. to ensure swift deployment to operationsUpdate P2P system with Asset Numbers, Purchase Requisitions and Purchase OrdersMaintain regular communication with requestors with high regard to delivery timingPerform invoice/quote matching to ensure accurate billingUpdate the SAP Purchase Order status with current delivery informationTrack and maintain Assets Under Construction (AUC) where applicablePerform other responsibilities as requested by leadershipWhat You'll HaveBachelor's degree in supply chain management or relevant field or equivalent experience requiredMinimum 3-5 years' experience acquiring trucks and equipment used in electric and gas utility constructionKnowledge of tools and equipment used for the overhead and underground electrical industriesExperience with fleet, procurement and maintenanceSAP experience preferred but not requiredProficiency in MS Office, specifically Excel, and in the use of software tools for data management & analysisAbility to quickly learn new technologiesHighly organized & detail oriented with the ability to multitask, never losing sight of end goals/objectivesOccasional travel to operational or supplier locations requiredBenefit Package including Medical, Dental and Vision Coverage 401K w/ Company Match Voluntary Life & AD&D Insurance and Short-Term and Long-Term Disability Vacation/Sick Time and Paid Holidays Potential Bonus Opportunities Career Development Opportunities Employee Discounts Weekly Payroll Work Environment Work is performed in a typical indoor office environment Flexibility to work various schedules and stay late when necessary with little or no notice Must be able to read documents, use a computer, communicate verbally and in writing Mobility required within an office, warehouse and construction site environments Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 pounds
