PURPOSEPerform a variety of clerical duties in support of the Community & Families department compile assemble distribute collect and process various forms documents and applicantsMinimum QualificationsGraduation from high school and one year general experience.Employee must have strong office computer and oral and written communication skills.Must be able to multi-task have excellent time management skills firm adherence to confidentiality.Essential FunctionsPerform a variety of clerical duties in support of Community & Families Programs; provide general department support.Assist in acquiring and assembling materials for various projects; prepare and distribute a variety of correspondence and informational materials related to the community and family programs.Provide general communication and liaison services in support of the community and family programing; initiate receive and route telephone calls; take and relay messages; provide general information concerning programs services policies and procedures.Assist in arranging and conducting special events trainings and meetings; notify participants of related schedules locations and information.Compile and verify a variety of data paperwork and information pertaining to community and family programmingInput various data into an assigned computer system as required; maintain automated records and files; generate computerized lists and reports as directed.Assist with coordinating and organization of office activities. Attend required community events and meetings.Assist with event setup and tear down and while they are in process.
