Reporting to the Associate Athletic Director for Athletics Communications, this position provides functional management within digital media while operating hands-on in content creation, platform management, and storytelling. The role emphasizes disciplined execution, creative excellence, and consistency in support of departmental priorities and brand standards.

Specific Responsibilities:
Execute and manage the digital media strategy and priorities established by the Associate AD for Athletics Communications.
Manage day-to-day digital media operations for DBU Athletics.
Directly manage assigned personnel, including graduate assistants and a full-time graphic design team.
Manage DBU Athletics' social media platforms, including content planning, scheduling, posting, and audience engagement.
Produce and manage content creation efforts, including video, photography, graphic design, and short-form storytelling.
Produce and distribute game highlights, feature stories, and digital content.
Support email and external communications marketing initiatives through digital content execution.
Manage digital storytelling support for department initiatives, campaigns, and events.
Ensure adherence to brand standards, visual identity, and quality control across all digital platforms.
Coordinate with coaches, student-athletes, and staff to capture and manage digital content.
Track, analyze, and report digital media performance metrics.
Execute department-wide communications initiatives as assigned.
Other duties as assigned.
Work Schedule:
A minimum 40 hours per week or more to meet the requirements of the program. Extra hours are often required after 5pm and on weekends. Travel is often required.
