Senior Accountant

DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Lafayette, California. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring accurate financial reporting and maintaining the integrity of accounting records. Your expertise will contribute to the smooth execution of month-end processes and reconciliation tasks.Responsibilities:- Complete detailed account reconciliations and analyses, promptly resolving discrepancies and ensuring timely entry of all transactions.- Maintain compliance with GAAP and understand key accounting standards such as ASC 606 and ASC 842.- Support month‐end and year‐end close activities, including monthly reconciliation and analysis.- Assist with annual audit preparation by creating schedules, addressing auditor requests, and coordinating with external audit teams.- Identify and support improvements to balance sheet reconciliation processes.- Participate in ad‐hoc projects and perform other assigned duties.Requirements- Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, public accounting experience a plus.- Strong knowledge of GAAP and solid analytical, problem‐solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, accounting software, and ERP systems.Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
