Vice President, HR Business Partner (Financial Services)New York, NY (Hybrid – Midtown)Direct HireWe are partnering with a leading global investment firm to identify a Vice President, Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join their New York team.This role is best suited for a mid-level, hands-on HRBP currently supporting front-office or revenue-generating teams within a top-tier financial services environment. The position offers strong exposure to senior leadership while remaining deeply embedded in the day-to-day execution of HRBP responsibilities.The OpportunityThis individual will serve as a trusted partner to business leaders, supporting a range of core HRBP functions including employee relations, performance management, and talent processes within a fast-paced, high-performance environment.Key ResponsibilitiesPartner closely with business leaders to support day-to-day HRBP needs across front-office teamsManage employee relations matters, including performance issues, investigations, and conflict resolutionSupport performance management cycles, promotions, and compensation processesContribute to organizational planning, retention, and employee engagement initiativesCollaborate on HR projects, reporting, and cross-functional initiativesEnsure consistency and alignment with HR policies, processes, and best practicesQualifications~8–14 years of total experience, with 5–10 years of HRBP experienceCurrently operating as an HR Business Partner (not solely in COE/programmatic roles)Prior experience supporting front-office, investment banking, markets, or revenue-generating teams requiredBackground within a top-tier bank or comparable financial institution strongly preferredStrong employee relations and performance management experienceProven ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-demand environmentHigh level of professionalism, discretion, and executive presenceStrong communication, judgment, and problem-solving skillsExperience with Workday preferredWhat We're Looking ForA hands-on, execution-focused HRBP who is actively involved in the day-to-daySomeone comfortable operating in a high-intensity, performance-driven environmentA proactive, adaptable partner with strong business judgment and ownershipCompensation$170,000 – $200,000 base salary + bonus(Compensation may vary based on experience and qualifications)
