Human Resources Business PartnerSummaryThis role supports a broad range of human resources functions, partnering closely with operations and leadership to drive talent acquisition, employee relations, compliance, and workforce effectiveness in a dynamic manufacturing environment.Key ResponsibilitiesRecruit for hourly and salaried positions using a mix of creative sourcing methods, including job postings, job fairs, and non-traditional recruitment strategiesPartner with plant and operations leaders on workforce planning, staffing needs, and organizational effectivenessSupport employee relations by coaching supervisors, resolving workplace issues, and ensuring consistent application of policies and proceduresGuide performance management, skills development, and succession planning initiativesCollaborate on safety, compliance, and labor-related initiatives to maintain a productive and legally compliant workplaceAnalyze HR metrics such as turnover, absenteeism, and training needs to recommend improvements in employee engagement and workforce stabilitySupport change management efforts related to production changes, automation, continuous improvement initiatives, or restructuringCoordinate onboarding and new hire orientation processes, including drug testing, paperwork, and benefits enrollmentMaintain highly sensitive employee records with a strong commitment to confidentialityProvide support for payroll, 401(k), workers' compensation, FMLA, ADA, and OSHA recordkeepingEnsure compliance with COBRA, HIPAA, AAP (if applicable), EEO, and ERISA requirements, including mandated reportingDeliver responsive, professional customer service to employees regarding benefits, payroll, and workplace-related inquiriesAssist with annual benefits open enrollment and support employees in understanding and utilizing benefit programsServe as back-up support for bi-weekly payroll processing to ensure timely and accurate paymentsPromote a positive, inclusive, and high-performance work environmentSupport compensation and benefits processes such as job evaluations and annual reviewsLead or participate in HR projects, including engagement surveys, DEI initiatives, training programs, and culture-building effortsPerform additional duties as assigned by HR leadershipQualificationsBachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field; or equivalent education and experience3–5 years of human resources experience, preferably within a manufacturing environmentStrong knowledge of employment laws, employee relations, and HR best practicesHigh proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Teams)Experience with ADP Workforce Now or a comparable HRIS requiredPhysical & Mental RequirementsAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentStrong judgment and decision-making skillsAbility to interpret written, verbal, and visual instructionsCapability to work effectively under pressureWith or without reasonable accommodation, the role requires regular sitting or standing, occasional lifting up to 25 pounds, and routine use of office equipmentAbility to work overtime as needed and comply with controlled substance policiesWork EnvironmentPrimarily on-site office environment with occasional time spent in a manufacturing or factory settingStandard business hours with flexibility to support extended hours or weekends as neededMay require occasional work at external facilities, vendor locations, or meeting venueFeatured benefitsMedical insuranceVision insuranceDental insurance401(k)Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled To read our Candidate Privacy Information Statement, which explains how we will use your information, please navigate to https://www.lhh.com/us/en/candidate-privacy The Company will consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records in accordance with federal, state, and local laws and/or security clearance requirements, including, as applicable: • The California Fair Chance Act • Los Angeles City Fair Chance Ordinance • Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers • San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance
