Job DetailsDescriptionPOSITION: Child Care Aide / Kitchen SupportDEPARTMENT: Child Care CenterHOURS: Full-time 40 hours per weekMonday - Friday, 9:30 am - 6:00 pmUNION: YesUNION NAME: SEIU Local 113WAGE RANGE: $18.90 - $28.58General ResponsibilitiesThe Child Care Aide / Kitchen Support is responsible for assisting staff with the supervision, education and care services provided to the children. This role will assist in implementing daily schedules and routines such as diapering and toileting; daily cleaning, organizing, and laundering; and meal prep and service. This role would support classrooms throughout the day while also assisting in the kitchen alongside our Kitchen Coordinator.Assisting teachers in classrooms as neededSupervising and engaging with childrenHelping maintain a clean and organized centerAssisting with meal prep and kitchen cleanupWashing dishes and laundrySupporting the Kitchen Coordinator with daily tasksHelping cover breaks and transitions between classroomsHelping to close the center with a qualified staff member.
