U.S. - Technology as a force for goodBy playing this video you consent to Google/YouTube processing your data and using cookies - Learn more.Position Description:We are seeking an experienced Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management Solution Architect to join our CGI team!This position is remote (US only); however, preferred candidates are located near San Diego, CA or Lafayette, LA and are open to a hybrid work arrangement.Lead the design and governance of end-to-end D365 F&SCM solutions across complex business environments.Responsible for defining the overall functional and technical architecture, ensuring alignment with business strategy, Microsoft best practices, and enterprise standards. This role acts as the primary authority on solution design, working closely with business leaders, functional consultants, technical teams, and project leadership to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing D365 F&SCM implementations.This career opportunity will include considerable project leadership responsibilities and will serve as a mentor to other functional consultants. Additionally, you will assist with customer relationships, proposal development and some marketing initiatives.You will play a key role from implementation to go-live, working with prospects and clients to review requirements, understand business processes, and deploy solutions. Assist with estimating level of effort, timelines, budgets and associated costs during presales process.Your future duties and responsibilities:How you'll make an impactOwn the end-to-end solution architecture for D365 Finance & Supply Chain Management implementations and enhancementsSupport sales and customer acquisition initiatives by crafting functional responses and new project estimationsLead solution design workshops and guide stakeholders on system capabilities and architectural decisionsTranslate business strategy and requirements into integrated functional and technical architecturesDefine module-level designs across Finance, Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing, Retail, Project Operations, or related areasEstablish and enforce architecture standards, design patterns, and best practicesProvide oversight for:o Customizations and extensionso Integrations with upstream/downstream systemso Data migration and master data strategyo Security and role designReview functional and technical design documents (FDDs/TDDs)Support UAT, go-live readiness, and post-implementation optimizationAct as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders and project sponsorsServe as a liaison to the PM on project work break down and schedulingUnderstand basic features of approved ISV productsRequired qualifications to be successful in this role:What you'll bringExtensive experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management in solution architecture or multiple lead consultant roles7 or more years of experience implementing ERP systems, preferably Microsoft D365 Finance & Supply Chain ManagementStrong hands-on expertise across multiple D365 F&SCM modulesProven experience leading end-to-end ERP implementations in complex, multi-entity environmentsDeep understanding of ERP architecture, including integrations, security, data management, and lifecycle services (LCS)Ability to balance business needs with technical constraints and platform best practicesStrong stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skillsExperience working with Agile and/or Waterfall delivery methodologiesPrior experience managing or leading a group and mentoring individualsExcellent verbal and written communications skills as well as strong interpersonal skillsAbility to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without supervisionAbility to handle and resolve recurring problemsFamiliarity with MS tools, including Teams, Share Point, DevOps and LCSDesired Skills:Microsoft Dynamics 365 Solution Architect or Functional certificationsStrong financial background and/or D365 finance-focused experienceExperience with Azure integration patterns (Logic Apps, Service Bus, APIs)Industry experience such as public sector, financial services, manufacturing, or energyExperience delivering global or large-scale transformation programsKey CompetenciesArchitectural thinking and decision-makingStrong facilitation and design leadership skillsRisk identification and mitigationAbility to mentor functional and technical team membersExecutive level communication and presentation skillsMinimum Education Required:* Bachelor's degree requiredOther Information:CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $89,600.00 - $188,100.00.CGI Federals benefits are offered to eligible professionals on their first day of employment to include:.
