Legal Assistant

Safe Harbor Legal Solutions is a growing elder law and estate planning firm seeking a Legal Assistant to support our attorneys and paralegals in serving families with professionalism, compassion, and attention to detail.This position plays a key role in both legal workflow and client experience. Our Legal Assistants support document preparation, file organization, and client communication, and also share responsibility for phone and reception coverage as part of a collaborative team.We are currently hiring one to two Legal Assistants and are open to both part-time and full-time schedules based on candidate fit and availability.We are looking for someone who thrives in a structured, detail-oriented environment and values meaningful work.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and assemble estate planning and probate documents from templatesMaintain organized digital and physical client filesAssist with client intake and information gatheringCommunicate with clients via phone and email in a professional and empathetic mannerManage scheduling and coordinate appointmentsProvide front desk and phone coverage as part of a rotating team structureSupport attorneys and paralegals with administrative and workflow tasksTrack deadlines and follow established office proceduresQualificationsAssociate's Degree preferred (paralegal studies or related field a plus)Prior administrative or office experience preferredStrong proficiency in Microsoft OfficeExcellent organizational and time management skillsHigh attention to detailProfessional and confident phone demeanorAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentComfortable working with elderly clients and familiesWhat We ValueCoachability and willingness to learnOwnership mindset and reliabilityProfessional maturityTeam-oriented attitudeCommitment to high-quality workGrowth OpportunityThis position offers the opportunity to grow within a structured legal team.
