At Parker, our team members belong, matter and make a difference.Position SummarySupport the Division Compliance team to design, develop, and implement the vision, strategy and tools for Parker’s worldwide trade compliance efforts that will allow Parker to execute the Win Strategy.Position will report to Division Compliance Manager. This role will work directly with the Strategic Supply Chain team located in Irvine, California. Individual must be able to work out of the Irvine, California FSD building. This role does not have direct reports.ResponsibilitiesUnderstands and researches the applicable regulations for agencies associated with import and export complianceConducts on site and desktop compliance auditsPerforms FTA Analysis Uses ACE or similar to extract import or export data, and publish reports/metricsAnalyze divisional/corporate duty spendEnsures quality of trade reporting to providers, suppliers, and agenciesAssists with GTM automation solutionsMaintains Parker’s Importer Self-Assessment ProgramVarious departmental projects and tasksMay Also Be Asked To Do The FollowingDesign, develop and implement import & export programs on a global basisAbility to review all customs and export declarations and associated documentation for compliance with regulationsProficient with using the HTS and how to apply GRI’s, rules or origin and classification rulingsCompetent with all export control including: Licensing, ITAR, OFAC; Screening; and SanctionsProvides Parker’s operations with guidance on trade management and improvement opportunitiesAssists with integration of acquisitions into Parker’s trade compliance programsCorresponds directly with government agencies on reconciliation, protests, petitions, refunds, penalty mitigation and voluntary self-disclosuresPerforms annual valuation reconciliationCoordinates Customers bond managementThe above description is not intended to be an all-inclusive list of duties and responsibilities.
