Senior Electrical Estimator

Job Details:SENIOR ELECTRICAL ESTIMATORWe are seeking a seasoned Senior Electrical Estimator to join our growing team in New Jersey. This is a leadership-level role for an experienced estimating professional who thrives under deadline pressure, takes pride in bid accuracy, and wants to develop the next generation of estimating talent. You will own the full estimating lifecycle — from schematic budgets through design-build proposals.Responsibilities:Develop accurate, competitive electrical construction estimates and proposals for GCs, owners, developers, and end-usersAnalyze detailed drawings and specs; identify and price value-engineered alternativesPerform budget pricing from schematic drawings; draft scope letters, proposals, and vendor solicitationsLead the estimating department — mentor junior staff, maintain estimating databases, and build client/vendor relationshipsAttend job walks, pre-bid meetings, and design-phase collaborations with clients and design professionalsExecute clean handoffs from estimating to operations with thorough scope-of-work documentationSupport change-order pricing and cost-to-complete estimates on active projectsRequirements:10+ years of electrical estimating experience projects up to $100MProficiency with AccuBid, McCormick, and/or ConEst; strong MS Office Suite skillsWorking knowledge of NEC code requirements and core electrical engineering calculationsBS in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field — or equivalent professional experienceAnalytical, deadline-driven mindset with clear written and verbal communication skillsCollaborative leadership style — comfortable working across estimating, ops, and field teamsSALARY: $125-175KSend resume to:Mark W.
