Legal Billing Manager - Law Firm - Miami

Billing & Trust Accounting Specialist Career Staffing Talent (CST) has partnered with a well-established Miami law firm to recruit a Billing & Trust Accounting Specialist to join the accounting team! This is a full-time, in-office role supporting billing operations, trust accounting, collections, and leadership reporting.Compensation: $80-85K base salaryBenefits: Comprehensive benefits package (health, retirement, PTO & more)Law firm billing experience is required experience with electronic billing platforms and TABS3 strongly preferred.What You'll DoGather and apply client billing guidelines, rates, and fee arrangementsEnsure matter-specific billing structures are properly reflectedManage all billing (conventional & electronic)Prepare invoice cover letters when applicableReconcile electronic invoice submissions with TABSMonitor e-billing platforms for approvals and resolve rejectionsDistribute pre-bills (including temp pre-bills) to partners for reviewProcess pre-bill edits and transfers per attorney directionFollow up with attorneys regarding billing deadlines, WIP aging, and invoice statusProcess client payments (all methods)Research and reconcile client accounts, unapplied cash, and discrepanciesPrepare reminder statements and collections correspondenceProcess trust transactions and book deposits, wires, and disbursements in TABS Trust moduleProvide weekly billing forecasts and progress reports to leadershipEscalate issues to Managers as neededSupport billing targets, firm initiatives, and special projectsWhat We're Looking For35 years of billing experience in a law firm environmentExperience with electronic invoicing platformsTABS3 experience preferredStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAdvanced math and analytical reasoning abilitiesAbility to generate and present reportsBilingual English/Spanish preferredProficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteStrong communication skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environmentLocation: In-officeStart Date: ImmediateIf you're a detail-driven legal billing professional who enjoys working closely with attorneys and leadership to drive billing accuracy and collections success, we'd love to hear from you.Apply now or message us directly to learn more.
