Legal Administrative Assistant
We are looking for at least 1-2 year experienced legal assistant who will work in-person at our office and can help the busy attorneys and paralegals at our law office assist clients. You'll be responsible for managing office correspondence, including answering phone calls and emails, arranging court meetings and travel, and ensuring our legal team is aware of upcoming deadlines. You may also assist with preparing legal documents, court documents, and perform any other tasks as needed to ensure our firm is operating efficiently.If you are organized, work well in a fast-paced environment, are responsible, want to learn about the law and legal practice, are a pleasant person, and want to work in a pleasant work environment, and consistently deliver a high-quality work product, reach out to us today!Responsibilities:Be willing to take on any other necessary administrative tasks to help the firm run smoothlyArrange travel, schedule meetings and appointments for the team, such as depositions, and coordinate with outside vendors for eventsProcess client billing properly using daily time records with help from the accounting departmentConduct legal research, when necessary, with guidance from attorneys and paralegalsWork with attorneys and paralegals to create various legal documents, including pleadings, motions, subpoenas, affidavits, contracts, and briefs for case preparation, and proofread documents when requestedQualifications:At least 1-2 years of previous experience in a law firm setting performing administrative tasksCandidates must have worked with legal software, case management, and docketing programsApplicants must have excellent communication skills and organizational skillsFully Bilingual (English and Spanish); read, write, and speak fluently.About Company:The Law Firm focuses on commercial litigation in Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach, but also other areas of Florida, as well as appearing in Federal Court throughout the State of Florida.
