Job Description Position OverviewWe are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Technical Writing & Administrative Intern to support daily office operations, proposal organization, and research initiatives. This internship provides hands-on experience in technical writing, office administration, receptionist duties, and government research related to county, state, and federal Request for Proposals (RFPs).The ideal candidate is organized, professional, dependable, and capable of managing multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced office environment.Key ResponsibilitiesAdministrative & Reception DutiesServe as the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and incoming callsMaintain a professional and organized front office environmentSchedule appointments and assist with calendar coordinationPerform clerical , filing, scanning, copying, and data entrySupport general office management and daily administrative operationsTechnical Writing & Proposal SupportAssist with drafting, editing, formatting, and organizing technical documents and proposalsMaintain proposal files and supporting documentationHelp organize submission materials for contracts, grants, and RFP opportunitiesProofread documents for grammar, formatting, and accuracyResearch & RFP CoordinationConduct county, state, and federal research for Request for Proposal (RFP) opportunitiesTrack proposal deadlines and submission requirementsGather supporting information and organize research findingsAssist management with compiling proposal materials and compliance documentationQualificationsStrong written and verbal communication skillsExcellent organizational and multitasking abilitiesProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)Ability to work independently and maintain confidentialityProfessional demeanor and strong attention to detailInterest in technical writing, administration, business operations, or government contracting preferredPreferred SkillsExperience with document formatting or proposal preparationFamiliarity with online research and government websitesStrong proofreading and editing skillsWork EnvironmentThis is a fully onsite internship requiring attendance Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Candidates should be dependable, punctual, and comfortable working in a professional office setting.
