This critical leadership role partners closely with Operations and Programs to ensure that all products and processes meet Daher’s global quality standards—as well as regulatory and customer requirements.The Quality Manager will oversee the Quality Management System (QMS), ensure compliance with FAA and AS9100 standards, lead continuous improvement initiatives, and drive a culture of excellence across the site.This is a highly visible leadership role at a growing aerospace site, ideal for a quality professional who excels at systems thinking, team development, and driving conformance.🚀 Primary ResponsibilitiesLeadership & StrategyLead and develop the Quality team by enhancing processes, coaching personnel, and supporting professional growth.Contribute to strategic quality planning and business reviews.Promote a continuous improvement culture aligned with Daher’s Leadership Model.Quality Management & ComplianceMaintain and improve the Quality Management System (QMS) and ensure ongoing AS9100 certification.Ensure compliance with FAA regulations, AS9100, APQP/AS9145, and customer-specific requirements.Develop QA processes, inspection procedures, and documentation to support quality objectives.Oversee Quality Inspection and Designated Inspection programs to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and effectiveness.Operational ExcellenceValidate quality processes, establish product specifications, and maintain quality attributes.Monitor production quality from raw materials through finished goods.Analyze quality data, support audits, and implement system-level improvements.Lead problem-solving activities using 8D, 5‑Whys, or equivalent methodologies.Identify, implement, and monitor improvement initiatives for product, process, and performance quality.Cross‑Functional CollaborationPartner with Operations, Programs, Engineering, Supply Chain, and regulatory partners to improve quality outcomes.Maintain strong communication with customers, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams.Ensure timely handling of customer issues and drive strong customer-service standards.Financial & Resource ManagementPrepare and manage annual quality budgets.Ensure the department is properly staffed and resourced to meet quality objectives.Oversee schedules, work assignments, and personnel performance management.📘 Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Aviation Sciences, Engineering, Quality, or related field OR equivalent experience.15+ years in quality assurance/control or manufacturing operations, with 10+ years in a supervisory role.Aerospace manufacturing experience required.Extensive experience managing and maintaining an established Quality Management System.Comprehensive knowledge of AS9100 and APQP/AS9145.Strong understanding of quality procedures, technical data, and regulatory requirements.Proficiency in problem‑solving methodologies (8D, 5‑Why, etc.).Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong customer‑service mindset.Demonstrated leadership skills in a matrixed environment.Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize resources, and drive results.Strong ownership mindset, accountability, and adherence to procedures.Ability to coach, mentor, lead teams, and promote continuous improvement.Preferred: auditing experience in manufacturing/regulatory environments.Must be fluent in written and verbal English.Stuart, Florida Site RequirementsPursuant to International Traffic Arms Regulations (“ITAR”) and the Export Administration Regulations (“EAR”), applicants for SELECT positions will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship, U.S. Permanent Residence, or U.S. Immigration Status in order to meet the minimum qualifications for those select positions. Any prospective offer will take into account the overall experience the successful candidate brings to the role. Offers to selected candidates will be made on a fair and equitable basis, taking into account specific job-related skills and experience.
