US, Inc. manufactures and distributes engineered fasteners under the SPAX brand for the construction market, TRUFAST for the commercial roofing industry and TRUFASTWalls for exterior building envelopes and facades. Preventative Maintenance is responsible for performing routine inspections, servicing, and maintenance on equipment and machinery to prevent breakdowns, reduce downtime, and extend equipment life. This role supports safe, efficient, and continuous manufacturing operations.Our Benefits Include:Starting wage $22/hour3 day work week (Friday-Sunday)Free employee medical, dental, and vision insurance @ 30 daysEmployee referral ($2,000)80 hours of PTO @ 90 daysCompany match 401k @ 6 months$150 safety shoe reimbursementCompany paid uniformsEssential Responsibilities:With available technical guidance, keeps plant machinery and mechanical equipment in good repair.Examines machines to diagnose trouble, dismantles machines, replaces defective parts, reassembles machines, and makes necessary adjustments to ensure efficient operations.Able to grease, oil, and replace sensors on all machines as well as check necessary gaps and specs per OEM of machines.Keep equipment and machines clean and free of parts screens and sludge.Ability to interact with PM software for prioritization/ completion of work done.Mechanical Requirements:Mechanical aptitude and ability to trouble shoot situationsAbility to use machine tools (i.e.: drills, grinders)Regularly performs preventative maintenance.Regularly performs fluid exchanges.Electrical Requirements:Diagnosis electrical troubleTest circuits with testing equipment and reports readings for further instructionReplacing lights and fusesPosition Requirements:Experience: Previous maintenance experience preferredEducation: High school diploma or GED requiredRequired Skills/Competencies:General computer skillsGood work history and extremely good attendance dependableGood hand-eye coordinationAbility to attain a license and operate a forkliftCleanliness and detail orientedGood safety practicesBe able to read/use rulers, micrometers, and calipersBe able to multi-task and work well under pressureAbility to understand and use math functions (i.e.: add, subtract, multiply, divide)Positive attitude and effective communicatorCompliance to company policyMust be able to read blueprintsKnowledge of ISO procedures-relevant to departmentClock in and out of Epicor and time keeping systemPhysical Requirements:Remaining in a stationary position, often standing, for prolonged periods.The employee is regularly required to sit, talk, or hear; frequently required to use repetitive hand motion, and to stand, walk, reach, bend, stoop or lift up to 50 pounds.Full-Time/Part-Time - Full-TimeShift - WeekendsPosition - Preventative Maintenance TechExempt/Non-Exempt - Non-ExemptLocation - Pioneer, Ohio (Heat Treat & Packaging)This position is currently accepting applications.
