This includes maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, assisting with budgeting and forecasting, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, exceptional organizational skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.+ Oversee daily accounting operations related to property management, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance for company-owned properties.+ Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.+ Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures to ensure efficiency and compliance.+ Manage the annual budget preparation process and provide ongoing support for budget monitoring and forecasting.+ Conduct regular reconciliations of bank accounts, tenant ledgers, and other key financial accounts.+ Collaborate with property managers to ensure accurate and timely rent collections, lease accounting, and expense reporting.+ Monitor cash flow and manage liquidity.+ Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and responding to audit inquiries.+ Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant accounting standards, regulations, and best practices.RequirementsRequired Experience+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification a plus, but not required.+ Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience within property management or real estate environmentThis role has perks that are unmatched by its competitors.
