W2 Only - DevSecOps Engineer with Java Development Experience

Role: DevSecOps Engineer with JavaLocation: Detroit, MI(Onsite)Job Type: Long Term ContractClient: InfosysJob Description:Required Skills & Experience• Strong experience with Java/J2EE application development and support.• Hands-on expertise with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, OpenShift, and container orchestration.• Strong cloud experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible).• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk, Datadog, Dynatrace, or New Relic.• Strong Linux/Unix administration and troubleshooting skills.• Knowledge of scripting/programming using Python, Bash, Groovy, or Shell scripting.• Security Skills• Experience with security scanning tools such as SonarQube, Checkmarx, Veracode, Snyk, Prisma Cloud, Aqua Security, or Trivy.• Understanding of DevSecOps frameworks, secure SDLC, and security best practices.• Knowledge of vulnerability management, secrets management, IAM, and compliance standards.• SRE Competencies• Expertise in incident management, RCA, service monitoring, and operational excellence.• Experience defining SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets.• Knowledge of distributed systems, microservices, and high-availability architectures.Preferred Qualifications and certifications• Experience with service mesh technologies such as Istio or Linkerd.• Knowledge of GitOps tools such as ArgoCD or FluxCD.• Experience with API gateways and cloud-native security solutions.• Exposure to FinOps and cloud cost optimization.• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer• AWS/Azure/GCP Solutions Architect• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)• Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist (CKS)• HashiCorp Terraform Associate• Security certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or Security+Thanks and regards,Deepa Maurya | Technical Recruiter - US StaffingEmail: deepa.m@ampstek.com | Desk: (609) 527-8971Ampstek LLC – Global IT Partner | www.ampstek.com
