This is not a "maintenance" role. We are looking for a "player-coach" who wants to completely own the retail channel and drive significant market share.Unlike many large-cap CPG firms where roles are siloed, this executive will have a seat at the table for all major business decisions. You won’t just be executing a plan; you will be the architect of it—influencing everything from product innovation and packaging to trade-spend strategy and go-to-market execution.The Role As the VP of Retail Branded Sales, you will lead a high-performing team of internal Sales Managers and a national network of Tier-1 Broker partners. Your primary objective is to drive "top-to-top" relationships across the grocery industry—from major national players to independent retailers and wholesale customers—ensuring our brand remains the dominant force on the retail shelf.Ideal Candidate ProfileCurrent Pedigree: You are a sitting VP or Director of Sales within a branded food/CPG organization.Grocery Channel Mastery: You have extensive, high-level experience calling on major retail grocery chains and wholesalers. You understand the "language" of the category manager and the complexity of the national supply chain.Leader of Leaders: You have a proven track record of managing both direct sales reports and large-scale broker networks.Strategic Autonomy: You thrive in environments where you are expected to make decisions and pivot quickly rather than waiting for "headquarters" to give the green light.Location & Benefits This role is based in the Greater Nashville / West Tennessee corridor.
