Temporary Summer Technology Worker

Start Date: TBDTerms of Employment:Responsible To: Director of Network Technology and Assistant Technology DirectorLocation: To be determined - ability to travel between campusesHourly Rate: $16.00/hr for 18 and older; $15.00/hr for youth under 18Hours Per Day: 8 hours per day with a 30-minute unpaid lunch breakDaily Schedule: 7:00 am - 3:30 pm (subject to change due to assignment)Benefits: This temporary position is not eligible for benefitsMinimum Qualifications:High School diploma or equivalent or current student of McHenry Community High School District 156Technology experience preferredIntermediate level computer skills associated with Google Docs, Microsoft Office, Windows OS 7, 10 / Apple MacOS, iOSResponsibilities / Duties:Assist with help desk support for summer schoolAssist with Chromebook prep for the upcoming school yearRelocate, reposition, and secure existing technology equipmentPerform inventory of existing hardware and softwareRemove dust and debris from equipment with vacuum and/or compressed airClean equipment with appropriate district approved cleaning agent(s)Unpack and inventory new technology equipment and suppliesInstall, configure, verify and troubleshoot hardware and softwareCreate and maintain appropriate documentationOther tasks as assigned by supervisorPhysical Requirements:Physical ability to lift and maneuver equipment up to 35 pounds for several hours dailyLimited A/C, potentially high humidity working environmentExposure to dusty/dirty equipment requiring general cleaning
