Registered Nurse (RN) | Labor & Delivery Location: Albany, GA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,164 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 17 Weeks Start Date: 4/6/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Albany, Georgia, 31701! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor & Delivery Duration: 17 weeks Shift: 12-Hour Nights Hours per Shift: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum 2 years in specialty License: Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, Intermediate or above EFM Must-Have: 2 years of experience in specialty required. Travel experience required. No first-time travelers. Description: Unit has 12 labor beds and 5 antepartum beds. There are 2 operating rooms and a 6-bed OB emergency room. Births range from 150-200 per month. Ratios follow AWHONN FHM System. Charting system utilized is MEDITECH. Charge Nurse is present and typically outside the staffing grid. OR techs serve as OB techs, stocking and assisting with deliveries. Every other weekend is required for scheduling. Contract requires rotation with permanent staff for holidays. Existing nurse aides and OB techs support the unit's functions. High-risk OB to routine OB patients are admitted. There is an antepartum area for patients needing longer stays before delivery. A lactation consultant is available to assist mothers. Neonatology staff and OB hospitalists are in-house 24/7. RT and pharmacy services are available 24/7. Shifts begin at 6:45 am and 6:45 pm. Floating to postpartum is required as needed. Floor-specific orientation consists of 2 shifts.
