ANALYST I-FINANCIAL

JOB SUMMARY The Financial Analyst I supports the finance and accounting operations of the facility by performing routine accounting tasks, maintaining accurate financial records, and assisting with monthly and annual close processes. This role works closely with cost control, operations, and finance leadership to ensure accurate reporting of inventory, production costs, and general ledger activity. PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS): Assist with general ledger accounting, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis Support month-end and year-end close activities in accordance with company policies and accounting standards Help track and reconcile inventory, work-in-process (WIP), and manufacturing-related costs Assist with cost accounting activities such as labor, material, and overhead analysis Prepare and maintain supporting schedules and documentation for audits and internal reviews Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes as needed Analyze financial data and assist in preparing management reports Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and applicable accounting regulations Collaborate with operations, production, and cost control teams to resolve discrepancies Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned NON-PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS): None MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related business discipline. May substitute one (1) year of college education for two (2) years' work experience 0-2 years of relevant experience in accounting, finance, or financial analysis Basic understanding of general ledger accounting, journal entries, and account reconciliations Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., formulas, pivot tables, data analysis) Ability to analyze financial data, identify variances, and communicate findings clearly Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and data integrity Effective written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team ADDITIONAL DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS Willingness to pursue professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) or continued professional development WORKING CONDITIONS Normal office conditions Must be able to sit for long periods COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS The compensation for this position typically falls between $53,583.00 and $71,165.50 per year. This position is not eligible for overtime. Note, the final compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of relevant experience, Falcon-specific experience, relevant education/certifications, geographic location, and shift.
