Chief Financial Officer
Arkansas Talent Group's Executive Search Division is proudly and exclusively partnering with a growing, Physician-Owned Healthcare Group to help them find a Chief Financial Officer for their organization. The CFO will lead all aspects of financial strategy, accounting, and reporting. This is a high-impact role partnering closely with the CEO and physician Board to drive growth, operational efficiency, and long-term financial performance in a complex healthcare environment.
What You’ll Do:
Lead all accounting and finance operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, tax, and financial reporting
Develop and maintain robust internal controls, financial policies, and procedures to safeguard company assets and improve efficiency
Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close and reporting processes, delivering timely, accurate financial statements and key performance metrics to the CEO and Board
Build and manage cash flow forecasting and cash management strategies, including banking relationships and liquidity planning
Serve as primary finance liaison with the outsourced billing/vendor partners to ensure accurate accounting for billing, collections, and related revenue‑cycle activities
Perform financial modeling and cost–benefit analysis for contracts, new service lines, equipment purchases, and other strategic initiatives
Oversee accurate and timely processing of payroll, payroll tax deposits
Ensure timely and compliant filing of all financial and tax reports
Oversee bank account reconciliations and overall treasury processes
Establish and manage procedures for record retention, protection, retrieval, and disposal in accordance with policy and regulation
Act as a key financial advisor to the executive team and physician leadership, providing analysis, insight, and recommendations
Lead, mentor, and develop a small finance/accounting team, and potentially other departments or cross‑functional projects as the organization grows
Participate in after‑hours Board/committee meetings and occasional travel to practice locations and industry conferences
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
Minimum 8+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, including at least 4 years as the senior financial leader
Strong technical foundation in general ledger accounting, financial statement preparation, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and tax reporting
Proven experience in multi‑site healthcare, physician‑owned groups, or similar complexity strongly preferred
CPA preferred
Proficiency with accounting and reporting systems (experience with Acumatica or Great Plains a plus), along with solid Excel and general productivity software skills
Strong Base Salary + Bonus
Essentially 100% Remote! Still needs to live in Central AR for C‑Suite Meetings and Board Meetings
