Nocturnist Physician

Nocturnist needed in Southeastern, NC. A Medical Center near Fayetteville, NC is recruiting for a Nocturnist physician. The Nocturnist will be working as the solo provider and work from 8pm-8am. The new Nocturnist will see all ages and prefer Family Practice or Med/Ped trained physicians as they will have to see Pediatrics. The Nocturnist can have a block schedule 7 nights on and 7 nights off. The Nocturnist will round on Adult and Pediatric Patients. They will attend C-Sections and round in the newborn nursery NRP certification required. Admit patients to the ER and run codes / round in the ICU. Procedures are optional and should be comfortable with ventilator management. The Nocturnist can expect to have 5 patient encounters per night and 3-4 Emergency Department admissions.
