We are currently seeking an organized and proactive Assistant Operations Manager to join our team. This individual will play a crucial role in overseeing our production floor, managing fulfillment operations, and handling inventory and work order administration. The ideal candidate will also be hands-on and able to tackle physical tasks for special projects as needed.
Position Overview:
The Assistant Operations Manager will support the Operations Manager in ensuring smooth and efficient daily operations. This role involves overseeing production activities, managing fulfillment processes, and maintaining accurate inventory and work order records. The successful candidate will also be involved in special projects that may require physical tasks and hands-on problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
Production Floor Oversight:
Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to ensure timely and efficient completion of production goals.
Monitor production processes, address any issues that arise, and implement improvements to enhance productivity and quality.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company quality policies on the production floor.
Fulfillment Operations Management:
Oversee the fulfillment process, including working with the warehouse team for order picking, packing, and shipping, to ensure accurate and timely delivery of products.
Coordinate with the warehouse team to manage order flow, handle any fulfillment discrepancies, and optimize storage and replenishment processes.
Inventory and Work Order Administration:
Maintain accurate inventory records, perform regular stock audits, and work with the Operations Manager to maintain inventory levels to meet production and fulfillment needs.
Oversee the creation and management of work orders, ensuring that they are completed on time and in accordance with production schedules.
Analyze inventory data and work order reports to identify trends, forecast needs, and address any issues.
Special Projects and Physical Tasks:
Plan and execute special projects related to operations, including any auxiliary services that are provided to our clients.
Perform physical tasks as needed to support project completion and address operational needs.
Qualifications:
Proven experience (3+ years) in operations leadership or a related role, preferably within a manufacturing or distribution environment.
Strong understanding of production processes, fulfillment operations, and inventory management.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Hands-on approach with a willingness to perform physical tasks and work on the production floor as needed.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with QuickBooks and other inventory management software and work order systems.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
