Accounts Payable Accountant

About the Company Seeking an Accounts Payable Accountant: Founded over 100 years ago, our client is in its fifth generation of family ownership Truly care about the relationships they have with their customers and strives for transparency in their business dealings Work hard for sustainability in their entire supply chain from start to finish Competitive benefits Hybrid schedule Responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Accountant include but are not limited to: Release/Audit/Review/Post freight invoices through Kofax, Raptor AX software, maintaining the integrity of company internal controls Process WIRE, ACH, and check payments on a rotating schedule, reviewing items presented for payment for accuracy before releasing payment Process invoices in ExArte against accruals- work with Logistics department to resolve discrepancies Manually post inbound freight and inventory invoices against accruals in Microsoft Dynamics AX Manually post CORE traffic handwrites against accruals in Microsoft Dynamics AX, manually posting expense vouchers as needed Resolve variances and issues with internal and external freight customers Background Expected of the Accounts Payable Accountant: Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or experience equivalent 3+ years of experience in accounts payable required Exposure to Microsoft AX Dynamics preferred Salary Range: $55,000 - 70,000
