Sr. Platform Engineer

A growing healthcare technology organization is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to define and build the future architecture of a fully Azure-based platform. This is a greenfield role where you will report directly to the Senior Director of Software Engineering and have the chance to leave a durable mark on the technical foundation and software delivery practices of the company. The organization manages customer-facing, carrier, and internal applications, including real-time APIs. What you will doDesign and implement next-generation architecture on Azure Build the software factory: CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, and reliable delivery practices Develop and modernize real-time APIs and services used by customers, carriers, and internal teams Work in an AI-native way — modern AI tools and patterns are part of how you design and ship software Turn ambiguous requirements into clear architectural decisions and roadmaps Partner directly with engineering leadership and raise the bar on how software gets built What you bringExperience designing and implementing architecture from the ground up Python Strong hands-on knowledge of CI/CD, pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code Comfort with ambiguity and incomplete requirements AI-native working style — you regularly use modern AI coding tools in real delivery work Experience building real-time or high-throughput APIs and services
