Pay: $2,700 to $3,000 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 5/18/2026 About the PositionTravelNurseSource is working with United Health Care Staffing, Inc. to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Bismarck, North Dakota, 58501!Registered Nurse - Labor & DeliveryLocation: Bismarck, North DakotaStart Date: 05-18-2026End Date: 08-17-2026Contract Type: Travel ContractShift Type: Rotating 12-hour day/night shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM; schedule posted 6 weeks in advance; weekends every third weekend; holidays as needed (includes night shifts)Hours per Week: 36Roles & ResponsibilitiesProvide exceptional Labor & Delivery and postpartum nursing care for antepartum, intrapartum and postpartum patientsContinuously monitor fetal and maternal status using EFM (GE/Corometrics) and interpret strips during Phase I recovery for C-sectionsTitrate IV drips safely (pitocin, magnesium, occasional insulin) and manage medication administrationScrub and assist in C-sections and OB surgical procedures when neededPerform triage assessments and manage the 3-bay triage area when requiredRespond rapidly to obstetric emergencies including hemorrhage management and neonatal stabilizationCollaborate with OB, neonatology, anesthesia and unit charge nurse to deliver coordinated careDocument accurately in EPIC and participate in handoffs and interdisciplinary roundsEducationCompleted nursing program (ADN/BSN or equivalent) — BSN not requiredRequired certifications as listed under qualificationsKnowledge & SkillsStrong fetal monitoring interpretation and maternal assessment skillsHands-on experience with GE/Corometrics EFM systemsNeonatal resuscitation and STABLE stabilization familiarityProven ability to manage obstetric hemorrhage (TXA, methergine, hemabate, cytotec)Competence placing telemetry/monitoring patches and basic troubleshootingTriage skills for rapid patient evaluation and dispositionExcellent communication, teamwork, and patient/family education abilitiesAbout United Health Care Staffing, Inc."Better Pay" and "Zero Headaches" and Ready to love your scrubs again?At United Health Care Staffing, we don't just fill shifts; we fulfill bucket lists.
