Job DescriptionCardiothoracic Surgery — Detroit, MITHE OPPORTUNITYStaffMed Health Partners is recruiting a BC/BE Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join an established cardiovascular surgery group within a major academic health system in metro Detroit. You'll operate primarily at a high-acuity Level I trauma center with additional coverage across the system's adult campus hospitals — providing the procedural volume and case complexity that keeps your skills sharp while working alongside a collaborative, experienced team.PRACTICE DETAILS• Monday–Friday schedule with 1—2 outpatient clinic days per week; OR time driven by caseload and ER consults• Level I Trauma thoracic coverage shared with one other CT surgeon — manageable, equitable call• Inpatient rounding including ICU units• Two dedicated CT surgical PAs to assist with rounding and call coverage• Multi-hospital system encompassing Level I and Level II trauma centers, tertiary referral centers, and community hospitals• Full administrative infrastructure — in-house billing, coding, collections, marketing, and practice support handled for youCOMPENSATION & BENEFITS• Competitive base salary with productivity incentives• Comprehensive benefits: medical, dental, vision, life, disability• Malpractice coverage with tail protection• 401(k) with employer match• CME allowance and dedicated conference time• Generous PTO• Relocation assistance and sign-on bonus availableREQUIREMENTS• MD or DO from accredited institution• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiothoracic Surgery• Michigan medical license or eligibility to obtainTHE LOCATION — Detroit, MIDetroit is one of America's great comeback stories — a city pulsing with reinvention, culture, and affordability that's nearly impossible to find in other major metros.
