Instrumentation TechnicianWork hands-on with turbine engines and advanced propulsion systems. Install the sensors. Run the data. Own the build.We're hiring an Instrumentation Technician to support cutting-edge gas turbine and propulsion testing in a highly technical R&D environment.This role is ideal for someone who has experience installing sensors on engines, turbomachinery, or even rocket systems and thrives in a precision-driven, hands-on setting.If you've worked with thermocouples, strain gauges, or pressure systems (hypotubing) then this is a strong fit.What You'll Be DoingInstall instrumentation directly onto gas turbine engines and test hardwarePrimary focus on:ThermocouplesStrain gaugesHypotubing / pressure sensor systemsPerform sensor wiring, routing, and harness fabrication with high attention to detailSupport installation of dynamic pressure sensors and high-precision componentsUse tools like multimeters and oscilloscopes for troubleshooting and validationPerform calibration of instrumentation and test equipmentExecute clean, reliable installs including:Routing and securing wiringTack welding when neededProtecting sensitive components (some valued at $50K+)Verify signal integrity and system readiness before testTroubleshoot real-time issues during test eventsSupport DAQ system integration and test setupMust-Have ExperienceHands-on instrumentation installation experienceDirect experience with:ThermocouplesStrain gaugesHypotubing / pressure instrumentationExperience working on:Gas turbine engines, turbomachinery, OR rocket/propulsion systemsStrong skills in sensor wiring, routing, and harness installationExperience using multimeters (oscilloscopes a plus)Ability to work with high-value, precision componentsUS Persons requiredNice to HaveExperience in R&D, lab, or test environmentsExperience supporting engine test or propulsion testingExperience with dynamic pressure / high-speed data collection systemsBasic tack welding capabilityFamiliarity with DAQ systemsWhy This Role Stands OutDirect, hands-on work with real turbine engines and propulsion systemsHigh-impact role on advanced R&D and test programsWork with cutting-edge sensor systems and instrumentationNot maintenance.
