This hybrid role combines hands-on Selenium and API test development with test planning, execution, and team leadership.About the Opportunity:Shift: Day shiftSchedule: Monday to FridayHours: Standard businessSetting: Hybrid (2 days onsite per week)Responsibilities:Lead day-to-day QA and testing activities for automation initiatives across UI and backend servicesDevelop and maintain automated test suites using Selenium WebDriver and API testing toolsDefine test strategies, automation frameworks, and execution plans aligned with project goalsCollaborate with developers and product teams to define test scenarios, validate requirements, and improve coverageTrack test progress, manage defects, report quality metrics, and mentor junior testers on automation best practicesQualifications:5+ years of experience in Software Testing with a focus on AutomationStrong proficiency in Selenium WebDriver, Java or Python, and API Testing tools, such as Postman or RestAssuredExperience creating automation frameworks from scratch or enhancing existing frameworksFamiliarity with CI/CD tools, Version Control systems, and Defect Tracking toolsExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsAbility to work full-time onsite in Houston, TXDesired Skills:Experience testing Wi-Fi systems or working in the airline domainExposure to cloud testing environments such as AWS or Azure and containerized deployments such as Docker or KubernetesKnowledge of performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner
