Duties
Deliver basic nursing care, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and assisting with daily living activities.
Collect patient information such as medical histories and current health concerns to assist in assessments.
Collaborate with registered nurses and physicians to develop and implement care plans.
Perform wound care, including cleaning, dressing changes, and monitoring for signs of infection.
Conduct procedures such as administering injections and catheterizations within the LPN's scope of practice.
Monitor patients for changes in condition and promptly report any concerns to the healthcare team.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and responses.
Educate patients and families on health management and care plans to promote understanding and adherence.
Assist with patient hygiene, grooming, mobility, and comfort.
Adhere to infection control protocols and ensure a safe, clean environment for patients.
Requirements
Valid LPN license in any U.S. state.
Knowledge of medical terminology and a solid understanding of anatomy and physiology.
Experience with medical documentation and maintaining patient records.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Prior experience in a clinical setting is preferred but not required.
