Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Travel/Contract AssignmentLocation: Chambersburg, PA 17201Assignment Length: 13 Weeks(Local & Traveler Candidates Welcome)Position Details:Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PMGuaranteed Hours: 40 hours/weekWeekly Pay Rate: $1,960 - $2,120Key Responsibilities:Assessment & Diagnosis: Perform evaluations to identify speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.Treatment Planning: Create individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments.Therapy Implementation: Provide therapy focusing on speech articulation, language comprehension and expression, voice, fluency, social communication, and swallowing.Swallowing Therapy: Develop and administer therapy for swallowing disorders.Family & Caregiver Education: Train families and caregivers on supportive strategies for effective communication and swallowing.Collaboration: Partner with physicians, audiologists, and healthcare teams to deliver comprehensive patient care.Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely documentation for patient assessments, treatment, and progress.Requirements:Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.Valid Pennsylvania SLP license or eligibility to obtain.CCC-SLP certification from ASHA (preferred).Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.Experience with a diverse patient population is an advantage.Travel & Local Notes:Candidates residing more than 50 miles from the facility qualify for travel pay.Ready to make a difference?
