Grade 6 Step 1 with a starting hourly rate of $19.26. Potential future earnings for this position on the ESP Salary Scale are $19.26 - $34.84
7 Hours/Day, 10-Month Work Year
Reports to Building Administrator
Minimum Requirements
High School Diploma or GED.
Two years of receptionist experience that involved frequent contact with various stakeholders, public relations work, and basic clerical tasks.
Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this position.
Ability to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodations.
Preferred Qualifications
Excellent communications skills.
Strong organizational skills.
Ability to multi-task.
Knowledge of TDD telephone device.
Ability to effectively operate a multi-line telephone and security monitors.
Ability to interact with the public and staff to communicate a positive image of the school.
Role Responsibilities
Receive visitors and provide overall directory assistance.
Screen visitors for appropriate school business before allowing them to sign the guest register and receive a visitor badge.
Monitor security cameras.
Notify the Resource Officer/Administrators if a person is on campus or in the building without authorization.
Answer telephone, take messages, and/or provide general information.
Maintain a high level of confidentiality.
Demonstrate courteous and professional demeanor to all stakeholders of Washington County Public Schools.
Perform other administrative related duties as assigned.
