Azure Data Engineer

Genesis10 is currently seeking an Azure Data Engineer for a hybrid position with a Major Financial Institution located in Jersey City, NJ. This is a 6+ month contract opportunity. This role will support a project to centralize Insider Risk (IR) data and governance within the Cybersecurity Data Lakehouse (CyberDW). The successful candidate will function as a development resource, analyzing and building the data ingestion pipeline for various sources. This position acts as a technical liaison between Data Owners, Insider Risk, and Security Engineering teams, adhering to internal IT SDLC agile processes. Responsibilities: Analyze and develop the ingestion pipeline of data sources for the Cybersecurity Data Lakehouse (CyberDW) Design and build data solutions using Microsoft Azure technologies Develop data pipelines and implement data lakes Ensure data security and compliance Act as a technical liaison between Data Owners, Insider Risk, and Security Engineering teams Provide timely follow-ups and routine updates to the sprint schedule Requirements: Senior-level experience (10+ years) Proven experience designing and building data solutions using Microsoft Azure technologies Strong skills with Azure Synapse, Data Factory, and Databricks Experience developing data pipelines and implementing data lakes Familiarity with data security and compliance best practices Experience with agile SDLC processes Azure certifications Pay rate up to $89.95 per Hour Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
