Job Details Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,250 - $2,370 Location: Summit, WI 53066 (Summit, Wisconsin) Contract Length: 13 weeks (May 4, 2026 – August 1, 2026) Shift: 8-hour day shifts (typical start ~6:30 AM; may vary) Hours per Week: 40 On-Call: Weeknight and weekend rotation required (30-minute response time) Travel-Friendly Perks: Welcoming unit culture, free parking, provided scrubs Required Qualifications – Operating Room / Perioperative Nurse Minimum 2 years recent Operating Room RN experience (ortho, neuro, general surgery, pediatric cases preferred) Comfortable performing Surgical Assist and Surgical Tech duties; perioperative/surgical nurse experience required Active RN license in Wisconsin (or ability to obtain prior to start) BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required CSA (Certified Surgical Assistant) preferred for Surgical Assist duties Experience with EPIC EMR, Alaris IV pumps, Pyxis medication dispensing system, and DaVinci XI Robot First-time travel nurses encouraged to apply — supportive orientation and preceptor provided Responsibilities – OR RN / Surgical Nurse Provide perioperative nursing care across a wide range of cases: orthopedics (total joints, fem/tibial rodding), neuro (laminectomies, burr holes), general surgery, bariatric, urology, and pediatric ENT Perform both Surgical Assist and Surgical Tech duties as needed during procedures Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including educators, hospitalists, trauma support staff, and surgical providers Participate in on-call rotations, covering OB call after 5 PM on weekdays and weekends Maintain accurate, timely documentation in EPIC EMR and follow facility protocols to ensure patient safety Complete a one-week orientation with dedicated preceptor and educator support to ensure success as a travel OR RN Why This Travel Nurse OR Job?
