Manufacturing Maintenance Supervisor II San Leandro, CA 94577 Role will be either 2nd Shit 1pm to 9pm or 3rd Shift 9pm to 5am. The work week is Sunday, Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday (Off Tuesday and Wednesday) ** Candidate must be eligible to be employed for an indefinite duration without limitation. SUMMARY:As the Maintenance Supervisor at our milk production facility, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating maintenance activities to ensure optimal performance of all equipment. You'll lead a team of maintenance technicians, troubleshoot equipment issues, and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and enhance operational efficiency MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:Supervise and coordinate the activities of the maintenance team, ensuring timely repairs and maintenance tasksDevelop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize equipment downtimeTroubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration systems as neededEnsure all maintenance work is completed in compliance with safety and food safety regulationsMonitor equipment performance and coordinate improvements or upgrades as necessaryCollaborate with production teams to address equipment issues and ensure minimal impact on production schedulesMaintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performanceTrain and develop maintenance staff to ensure technical competency and safetyOversee inventory of spare parts and manage the maintenance budget effectivelyEnsure compliance with company policies and regulatory standardsThis role will perform LO/TO as a requirement for this role WHAT WE ARE SEARCHING FOR:High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in maintenance (preferred)At least 3-5 years of proven experience in maintenance supervision, preferably in a food production environmentStrong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration systemsExperience with preventive maintenance programs and managing a maintenance teamExcellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsStrong leadership and communication skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple prioritiesCommitment to safety and regulatory complianceFlexibility to work shifts and respond to emergencies as needed ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:Is there a possibility this role will be extended? – YesIs there a possibility this role will be converted to full time? – Possibly.
