If you are excited about a role but don't meet every bullet point, we encourage you to apply and join us to create the extraordinary.To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, this Summer, we’re looking to add a Mechanical Engineering Co-Op located in our Austin, TX Corporate HQ site.Reporting to the VP, Operations the Intern will assist with daily engineering tasks while learning, collaborating and working alongside Engineers and cross-functional teams.What a typical day looks like:Assist Engineering Team with time studies, reviewing documentation, drawings and CAD Monitor Engineering DOE (Design Of Experiment) projectsCollaborate with Engineering Team with writing reports and reporting findings to teamAttend team meetings and support project work as neededStudent qualities we’re seeking for this Co-Op assignment:Currently enrolled Graduate student pursuing Mechanical/Industrial Engineering majorCAD tools (Solidworks) experienceLean/Six Sigma helpfulEnthusiastic about working in a manufacturing environmentHighly collaborative, creative and excellent communication skillsPrevious internship experience a plus!Co-Op Program Requirements:Available to work 40 hours/week (on-site) for a designated fixed-termCurrently enrolled in accredited universityMinimum GPA: 3.0-SiteFlex is an Equal Opportunity Employer and employment selection decisions are based on merit, qualifications, and abilities.
