Findlay, OHOn-Site Freudenberg-NOK General PartnershipYou support our team as Lean Engineer Responsibilities Lead Kaizen events, process improvement projects, and value stream initiatives that drive measurable business results.Partner with production, engineering, quality, supply chain, and leadership teams to identify and eliminate waste throughout the organization.Train, coach, and mentor employees on Lean principles, problem-solving tools, and continuous improvement best practices.Analyze operational performance data and use Lean methodologies to improve efficiency, quality, and productivity.Facilitate cross-functional teams and effectively communicate project goals, progress, and results to stakeholders at all organizational levels.Develop and sustain standard work, visual management systems, and process documentation using Microsoft Office tools and reporting systems.Serve as a champion for continuous improvement by promoting a culture of accountability, engagement, and operational excellence.Qualifications Experience leading Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, Kaizen, Six Sigma, or operational excellence initiatives in a manufacturing environment.Strong knowledge of Lean tools such as Value Stream Mapping, 5S, Standard Work, Visual Management, Root Cause Analysis, and Kaizen.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Teams.Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with employees at all levels of the organization.Self-motivated and results-driven, with the ability to independently lead projects and drive change.Demonstrated ability to analyze data, solve problems, and implement sustainable process improvements.Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Business, or a related field preferred; equivalent combination of education, training, certifications, and relevant experience will also be considered.The Freudenberg Group is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion.
