Our approach is built around responsive customer service, competitive pricing, technical product knowledge, and making laboratory purchasing easier.Role DescriptionInnovative Bioscience is looking for a motivated and organized Inside Sales Representative / Warehouse Associate to join our team in Benicia, California.This is a hands-on position combining customer support, inside sales, and warehouse operations. The ideal candidate is comfortable communicating with customers by phone and email while also assisting with shipping, receiving, inventory, and order fulfillment.You will work closely with our sales and operations team to help customers with product inquiries, prepare quotes, follow up on opportunities, process orders, and ensure products are accurately packed and shipped.This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety in their work and wants to gain experience in both sales and operations within the biotechnology and life science industry.Responsibilities• Respond to customer inquiries by phone and email• Assist customers with product selection, pricing, availability, and order questions• Prepare and follow up on customer quotes• Follow up with existing customers regarding repeat orders and product needs• Support inside sales outreach to laboratories, universities, and biotechnology companies• Maintain accurate customer and sales information within our CRM• Process and prepare customer orders for shipment• Pick, pack, label, and verify outgoing shipments• Receive and inspect incoming deliveries• Maintain accurate inventory and an organized warehouse• Assist with frozen and temperature-sensitive product handling• Operate pallet jacks and forklifts as needed• Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment• Work closely with management to improve customer service and operational processesQualifications• Strong written and verbal communication skills• Comfortable communicating professionally with customers by phone and email• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills• Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities• Reliable, proactive, and willing to learn• Comfortable working in both an office and warehouse environment• Basic computer proficiency• Ability to safely lift and move packages and warehouse materials• Previous customer service, sales, or warehouse experience is preferred but not required• Experience with shipping and receiving is a plus• Forklift and pallet jack experience is a plus, but training can be provided• Experience within biotechnology, laboratory supplies, medical supplies, or scientific distribution is a plus• High school diploma or equivalent requiredIdeal CandidateWe are looking for someone who is personable, dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable switching between customer-facing and operational responsibilities.You may be a particularly good fit if you have previous experience in customer service, inside sales, distribution, warehouse operations, or shipping and are interested in developing a career within the life science industry.Because Innovative Bioscience is a growing company, there is an opportunity for the right person to take on additional responsibility as the business expands.
