Underground Construction Laborer

Job TitlePerform general labor duties for telecommunications construction projectsAssist with directional drilling, excavation, trenching, pipe placement, backfilling, and site restorationSupport installation of conduit, duct, cable, and pedestalsPerform potholing and hand digging around existing utilitiesSet up and break down job sites daily, including equipment and materialsDirect and control traffic safely in active work zones (flagging)Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site at all timesEnsure proper handling and accountability of tools, equipment, and materialsComplete daily equipment safety inspections and maintenance checksAccurately complete all required company documentation for each assignment according to established company standards and proceduresPerform work in a safe manner and comply with all established safety policies and proceduresReconcile all issued parts and materials on a daily basis to ensure accurate material usage countsWork efficiently to complete tasks on schedule in a fast-paced environmentCollaborate with crew members and support field operations as neededWillingness to work shifts as assigned, including daily overtime when necessaryExperience in general construction, including flagging, landscaping, and/or concrete restorationTelecommunications or directional drilling experience preferredAbility to safely direct traffic and maintain secure work zonesStrong physical stamina with the ability to dig, lift, climb, bend, crawl, and stand for extended periodsAbility to work in various weather conditions and outdoor environmentsStrong work ethic with reliability, punctuality, and accountabilityAbility to work both independently and as part of a teamEffective communication skills when interacting with coworkers, customers, and homeownersValid driver's license required; Class A CDL preferredAbility to pass drug screening and background checkMust be authorized to work in the United StatesMedical, Dental, and Vision Insurance401(k) Retirement Savings PlanPaid HolidaysPaid Time Off (PTO)Profit Sharing
