Are you ready to join our dauntless crew here in San Diego and beyond?ROLE SUMMARY:The Floor Staff is responsible for providing excellent and memorable experiences for our customers as they visit our Tasting Room and Kitchen. They greet, provide recommendations, take orders, deliver food and bus tables. They tell the story of Cutwater Spirits and share insight into the products and company. They provide memorable experiences of Cutwater Spirits turning visitors into life-long fans of our company and products. This position works under the direction of the Floor Manager.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Greet guests, providing a warm and genuine welcome.Provide guests with menus and answer any initial questions.Provide guests with instructions on navigating the Tasting Room and making purchases in the retail shop.Respond to complaints and helping to resolve them.Answer phone calls, taking reservations and answering questions.Ensure that the server stations are adequately stocked with tableware, napkins, and condiments.Deliver food and beverages to guests.Enter orders to POS system and process payments.Answer guest questions regarding recommended items, meal ingredients and preparation.Engage with guests to ensure they're happy with their experience.Provide exceptional customer service.Clear dishes and glasses throughout customer experience.Being able to fulfill all duties as a busser, food runner and server.Embraces and fulfills the core values and culture of Cutwater Spirits.Other duties as assigned.Outgoing personality.Punctual.Excellent organizational and time management skills.Exceptional customer service skills.Sound knowledge of proper food handling procedures.The ability to stand for extended periods.Ability to manage responsibilities in a high-demand, fast-paced working environment.Able to problem-solve and deal with unique customer situations.Ability to follow oral and written instructions.Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.Must be at least 18 years of age.JOB QUALIFICATIONS:High school diploma or equivalent required.A food handler's license, or ability to secure one within 30 days of employment.1+ years' experience working in the food service industry.BENEFITS:401(k) Retirement Savings options with a company matching contribution.Chance to work in a fast-paced environment among a company of owners.Great Perks including product samples!
