They serve the entire community and offer personalized in-home care, and many have been recipients of Home Care Elite awards./n So whether you're looking for the buzz of a large city, the tranquility of nearby mountain bike trails or something in between, we encourage you to explore our organization./nJob Summary:/nProvides speech therapy services to patients with speech, language or swallowing disorders./nJob Requirements:/n/nEducation and Work Experience:/n/n- Master's Degree: Required/n/n/n/nLicenses/Certifications:/n/n- Speech Pathologist licensure in the state of practice: Required/n- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification: Required/n- American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC): Preferred/n- Valid Driver's License (DL) and must be at least 21 years of age or older: Required/n/n/n/nEssential Functions:/n/n- Assesses and documents speech therapy data related to patient assessments, patient care needs, interventions and outcomes./n- Identifies changes and trends throughout physical and emotional parameters./n- Reviews treatment plans and assesses individual performances to modify, change or write new programs./n- Maintains documentation as required by law, establishment policy and administrative regulation./n- Instructs patients on ways to monitor speech and practice new skills./n- Performs other job-related duties as assigned./n/n/n/nOrganizational Requirements:/nAdventist Health is committed to the safety and wellbeing of our associates and patients.
