Since 2019, our programs have focused on building transferable soft skills that support college access, career readiness, leadership development, and global mobility. Grounded in international affairs, our curriculum introduces students to national security, technology, civic engagement, and diplomacy. Students engage in hands-on global projects, receive mentorship from industry and government professionals, receive support in obtaining their first U.S. passport, and participate in international travel experiences. Our programs equip young people with the skills, networks, and exposure necessary to succeed in a global economy and future workforce.Role Description We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and mission-driven Program Manager to lead the implementation, coordination, and growth of the Oriadha Global Fellowship Program (OGFP). Reporting directly to the Executive Director, the Program Manager serves as the operational leader of the fellowship and primary point of contact for students, parents, schools, elected officials, community partners, universities, mentors, guest speakers, and other stakeholders. The Program Manager is responsible for overseeing participant recruitment, program operations, stakeholder engagement, event execution, financial management, reporting, technology implementation, international travel coordination, and overall program success. This role requires an individual who thrives in fast-paced environments, can manage multiple priorities simultaneously, and demonstrates exceptional professionalism when representing Diplomatic Perspective in the community. The Program Manager must be available to attend all required fellowship sessions, parent meetings, orientations, field trips, special events, and stakeholder engagements. Fellowship sessions are held every Tuesday and Thursday from 5:00–7:00 p.m. ET, with additional evening and weekend commitments required throughout the year.Role ResponsibilitiesLead day-to-day implementation of the Oriadha Global Fellowship Program, including program scheduling, sessions, student activities, curriculum implementation, logistics, and continuous improvement.Serve as the primary point of contact for students and families; manage communication, engagement, onboarding, attendance, retention, student records, and program requirements.Manage student administration, documentation, data systems, surveys, evaluations, and compliance.Build and manage relationships with schools, universities, government agencies, community organizations, mentors, corporate and philanthropic partners, vendors, and other key stakeholders.Lead recruitment and cohort development, including outreach, information sessions, applications, interviews, enrollment, and retention.Plan and execute at least four major events annually, overseeing venues, vendors, speakers, registration, transportation, catering, volunteers, budgets, and on-site logistics.Manage program technology and learning systems, including Microsoft 365, LMS platforms, databases, digital records, automation, and AI-enabled workflows.Coordinate domestic and international travel, including documentation, itineraries, vendors, orientations, communications, risk management, and emergency preparedness; travel as required.Monitor program performance and prepare monthly, quarterly, annual, grant, and other reports, including participation, outcomes, financials, and impact data.Manage program budgets, expenditures, invoices, reimbursements, vendor payments, financial records, and fiscal compliance.Lead program staff, consultants, contractors, volunteers, and partners; facilitate implementation meetings and coordinate priorities, timelines, deliverables, risks, and organizational alignment.QualificationsBachelor’s degree and 3–5 years of relevant professional experience in program management, education, nonprofit leadership, youth development, community engagement, workforce development, public service, or a related field.Experience working directly with high school students and families and coordinating multi-stakeholder programs, events, and multiple projects simultaneously.Exceptional organization, communication, time management, attention to detail, problem-solving, and relationship management skills.Professional, mature, collaborative, solutions-oriented approach with the ability to manage competing priorities and work independently and as part of a team.Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Forms), as well as experience with project management tools, databases/CRM systems, and Learning Management Systems.Strong data management and reporting skills, with familiarity using AI productivity tools and emerging technologies.Reliable transportation and ability to travel throughout Prince George’s County and surrounding areas.Availability to work evenings and weekends, including fellowship sessions every Tuesday and Thursday from 5:00–7:00 p.m. ET, as well as parent meetings, field trips, orientations, and major events.Ability to coordinate and support a minimum of four major events annually and travel domestically and internationally.Valid U.S. Passport or ability to obtain one, required background clearances, and commitment to confidentiality and professionalism when handling participant information.This is a full-time, one-year contract position with an annual salary range of $50,000–$65,000, based on experience. Extension beyond the initial contract period is not guaranteed and is contingent upon the following: Continued program funding Organizational needs and priorities Program continuation Successful performance evaluations Demonstrated achievement of program goals and expectations Performance evaluations will be conducted throughout the contract period and will be considered in any contract renewal decision.
