Korn Ferry has partnered with our client on their search for the role, Operations Manager.OverviewWe are seeking a hands-on Operations Manager to lead day-to-day operations within an industrial manufacturing or processing environment. This role is responsible for driving safe, efficient, and high-quality operations while developing a strong, engaged team. The ideal candidate brings practical experience with commodities (raw materials, components, or finished goods) and thrives in a fast-paced, results-driven operation.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and oversee all operational activities in an industrial environment, including production/processing, receiving, shipping, and inventory managementDevelop and execute production plans aligned with business priorities, customer requirements, and capacity constraintsActively manage production planning, inventory control, material requirements planning (MRP), throughput optimization, and productivity improvement initiativesChampion and enforce a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with all applicable safety and environmental regulationsEstablish, monitor, and improve quality, operational, and performance standardsAnalyze operational data to identify trends, resolve issues, and implement corrective actionsCollaborate cross-functionally with sales, purchasing, maintenance, and quality teams to optimize resources and meet delivery commitmentsEnsure equipment reliability through preventive maintenance programs and continuous process improvementDrive continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, cost control, and service levelsMaintain a visible, hands-on leadership presence on the floor to support problem-solving and executionLeadership & SafetyLead, coach, and develop frontline supervisors and hourly teams in an industrial settingBuild a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvementOwn safety program execution, including training, audits, incident investigation, and corrective actionsPromote operational discipline and best practices across all shiftsRequired QualificationsProven experience working in an industrial environment (manufacturing, processing, metals, chemicals, building materials, food, or similar)Experience with commodities- raw materials, components, or finished goodsStrong working knowledge of production planning, inventory management, MRP, and operational performance metricsDemonstrated success leading teams in a hands-on operations leadership roleStrong problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skillsAbility to lead in a fast-paced, physically active environmentProficiency with Microsoft Office and operational systemsPreferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related fieldLean manufacturing, continuous improvement, or process optimization experienceWhat We OfferCompetitive compensation and benefitsOpportunity to lead and make a visible impact at the site levelA safety-focused, performance-driven environment with room for growthSE: 510789097
