This role plays a vital part in helping children build emotional and social skills while offering families much-needed support and flexibility. What You'll DoProvide one-to-one support to children experiencing serious emotional challenges, under the guidance of a case manager and in partnership with familiesCreate a safe, structured, and engaging environment that supports emotional growth and social skill developmentRespond to behavioral and emotional challenges using positive, non-punitive approaches that encourage learning and resilienceMaintain consistency and reliability in scheduling whenever possibleProvide transportation using a safe, inspected, and appropriately insured personal vehicleCollaborate with interdisciplinary team members and other service providersComplete required documentation in accordance with state, federal, and NKHS guidelines What We're Looking ForHigh School Diploma requiredExperience working one-on-one with children with emotional or behavioral challenges preferredAbility to work independently while following established plans and guidanceStrong communication, patience, and problem-solving skillsValid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and automobile liability insurance ($100,000/$300,000) SALARY & BENEFITS$25.00 per hourPer Diem Shifts Staff are required, by NKHS policy and state law, to report any suspected abuse or neglect to their supervisor and appropriate authorities.
