Position Type:Administration/CoordinatorDate Posted:5/5/2026Location:Central OfficeTITLE: Grants and Cash Management ManagerQUALIFICATIONS:At least a bachelor's degree or higher in a business related field.Additional criteria as the Board may establish.REPORTS TO: Finance DirectorSUPERVISES: NoneJOB GOAL: To assist in administering and managing all grants and other accounting affairs of the school system.PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:Job RelatedCoordinates and supervises the activities of all state and federal grants.Completes the Maintenance of Effort Verification Report.Prepare monthly grant reports.Assist with monthly and year-end journal entries.Assist with yearly budget.Monitors and budgets the Special Revenue Funds.Receives and records all school board revenues.Monitors and safeguards the cash assets by securing pledges from banks.Prepares monthly bank pledge reports.Coordinates all banking activities.Prepares monthly certificate of deposit reports.Completes all other banking transactions such as money transfers, wiring of funds to other banks, etc.Invests idle money.Supervises and coordinates all oil & gas lease activities.Supervise and coordinate the activities of the Group Medical, Dental, Life, and Vision insurance benefits.Prepares monthly Medical and Dental Insurance reports for the Budget/Finance Committee.Schedules the audits of all school activity funds.Prepares monthly Sales Tax reports for the Budget/Finance Committee.Assists in all other business functions as needed.Performs other tasks and assumes other responsibilities assigned by the proper authority.InstructionWorks effectively with teachers.Assumes leadership in in-service activities.Related ResponsibilitiesDischarges assigned duties.Concentrates effort in area of major responsibility.Is self-directed.Keeps abreast of current trends in education.Exhibits loyalty in the promotion of the system's goals.Reports job-related injuries within 48 hours of work accident to the Human Resource manager.
