Day.Aspirus Wausau Hospital is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our Palliative Care Unit team!The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is a member of the patient care team and is responsible for assisting with providing patient care under the general direction of a Registered Nurse. The LPN works within the Professional Practice Model of Aspirus Wausau Hospital.LPN may be eligible for a $2,500 sign on bonusHOURS: Full time or .9 FTE; 72 hours bi-weekly; Night ShiftsExperience/Qualifications:Knowledge of patient care standards normally acquired through graduation from an accredited Practical Nursing program.Successful completion of an IV therapy and pharmacology course.Previous experience beneficial.Current Wisconsin LPN licensure, or application made and awaiting results.Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.Annual accrual of CEUs/continuing education requirements per Education Council recommendation for the given year.Annual competencies as required by Aspirus and/or various regulatory agencies based on entity and/or job position.Employee BenefitsFull benefits packages available for part- and full-time status.PTO accrual from day one!Generous retirement plan with match available.Wellness program for employees and their families.Aspirus Wausau Hospital is the flagship of the Aspirus system that serves patients in 14 counties across northern and central Wisconsin, as well as the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
