Systems Engineer - Audio Domain (IVI Audio)Location: Plano, TX - ONSITE Duration: 12 months to 36 months Visa: USC and GC only Interview: Phone/SkypeJob ResponsibilitiesEnhance audio function and features based on customer feedback.To analyze current audio functionality and provide a proposal or recommendations.Manage equipment setup, vehicle testing, and performance testing.Execute initial triage and follow-up activities for any detected or customer-reported issues.Responsible for specifications review, end-to-end test coverage analysis, and enhancements test planning, execution, and reporting defect escalation to appropriate teams.Create test cases from scratch or modify existing test cases for additional requirements.Perform life-cycle tests, end-to-end tests, and final confirmation tests.Conduct duties in an agile work environment.Skills & Qualifications1 -2 years of automotive development and systems engineering relevant work2-3 years of experience in scripting (including, but not limited to, JavaScript, Python, and LabView) and testing1 year in quality assurance of automotive head units with Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Apps, Hands-Free Calls, and Navigation functions (NOT Mandatory but can be great plus)Experience with agile and waterfall development cycles.Experience working in a dynamic environment, including multiple parties such as team members, business partners, and external suppliers.
