This role is essentially a Wireless Project Estimator / Project Manager hybrid. You’ll be responsible for:Pricing (estimating) wireless construction projectsManaging project financialsKeeping projects moving forward efficientlyYou’re not just calculating costs—you’re making sure projects are financially accurate, well-tracked, and executed smoothly. Key Responsibilities Explained1. Cost Estimation & BudgetingAnalyze wireless construction projects and estimate total costsEnsure pricing aligns with:Market ratesLabor, materials, permits, etc.Prevent under-budgeting or cost overruns This is a critical function—bad estimates = project losses.2. Cross-Functional CoordinationWork with:Engineering teamsField teamsFinancePermitting teamsGather all inputs needed for accurate pricingYou’ll act as a bridge between technical and financial teams.3. Problem Solving During ExecutionIdentify issues like:DelaysDesign changesUnexpected field conditionsAdjust budgets and plans accordinglyThey want someone who doesn’t just report problems—but fixes them proactively.4. Project Tracking & DocumentationMaintain accurate records in:ExcelSmartsheetProject management toolsEnsure:All contracts are loggedData is clean and up to date This role requires high attention to detail.5. Local Compliance & Permitting (Seattle-specific)Work with agencies like:SDOT (Seattle Dept. of Transportation)SCL (Seattle City Light)Understand ROW (Right of Way) processesThis is a BIG plus—local experience = faster project approvals.Required BackgroundMust-Have Experience:3–5 years in:TelecommunicationsWireless constructionKnowledge of:Outside Plant (OSP):Aerial (poles)Underground (trenching, conduit)Familiarity with:Safety & electrical standards:NESCNECOSHATechnical Skills:Excel (advanced preferred)SmartsheetProject management toolsOther Requirements:Valid driver’s licenseOccasional travel (1–2 times/year)
